Pretty pleased with today's run although I should of done better looking back. Still after a Sub 40 I think being unwell prior to xmas and to much food may over Xmas hindered me a tad today. But nice race to do. Nick Beer 10k race lined up to do early Feb hoping to crack it then.

nick beer 10K get dewsbury 10k done with me instead mate thats a quick one out & back aswell 1st feb.
well done today though all things considered.

me 29.39 today i've since looked at my mile splits
set off as though i'm fit ran 1st mile in 5.24 then curled up & died

Well done on today. I think everyone tends to take off like a rocket in the first mile. May have a look at the Dewsbury 10k on 1st Feb not sure if I was thinking of another race on this day will have a check later.

Not sure about Tuesday yet? will wait till tomorrow and see how I feel after the last few days of running. Plus I may have the added complication of - Tracey going to Sheffield she thought I said the Dales run was planned for Thursday if that's the case I may be stuck anyway with the little ones.

Reminds me of mad start to a 10k back in the Eighties I went through 2k in 5-52 which is faster than I've ever run during a 3k on the track, then faded to just scrape inside 33 minutes.

Wish I could House bound with the small people today and it's such a lovely day too Still I get a whole day to play out tomorrow
