    Yet another little excursion to the Dales. 14 or so miles from Horton, up round, along and back - sort of. Quite a few runners out today

    Managed to do 60-65 minutes steady in 58-48, is that good or bad ?

    5.5 miles steady on road

    oh my god...did i feel the excesses of christmas/new year on the up hill bits

    cut gate tomorrow (sustained uphill, and then back again)

    ..would have made the Cut Gate climb with you...may do in near future, you going from Langsett? Why not try the old Mickleden route...bring fruit loaf! Have a good run!

    87 mins (c9.25 miles) around Danefield & Chevin including doing the steps for first time in about half a dozen visits there.

    Only 3 weeks after the wettest I'd known it up there today was almost all bone-dry thanks to all the frost.

    Hadfield, Longdendale Trail, round all four resers and back through Padfield. warm up, 5 x 5mins hard off 2 mins jog recovery, 8 x 15 sec hill sprints (Man walking dog thinks I am mad with the look of him. Either that or he fancied me!) Warm down.

    7 mile today. hard work after all the food and beer over the festive time.
    impressed with the new inov-8 212 i bought meself.
