Thread: Today's Injuries

    Re: Todays Injuries

I have been nagging at Al, for days now, even enlisted Emma to nag at him to get to the doctors, to have bad knees at your age, is bad news! 'Injury and Rehabilitation Clinic' they have one of them in Bolton, and theyre really good, not sure if they are free, but being a student you might get it cheaper.

Nag err not the right word, gentle reminding him! yeah thats it!

telling him one thing but paul been negative about it ain't the right way to go! i understand where the lad is coming from as we have all been in the same boat.. but don't put him down for trying as that is unfair, we have all been injured at some point or other and we all make decisions that sometimes don't go our way!

i have seen top class runners run whilst carrying injurys and very few get away with it! most are sidelined for a few months..

the endorphims will only work to a limit then it's either rest, doctor phsio, drugs or beer(i normally start on the beer first, great cure)

He wants to get it sorted and nip it in the bud instead of soldiering on and making t'job worse. He's a good runner and a good lad

    Re: Todays Injuries

Calf strain picked up during training run today. Experience tells me anything from 3 days to 3 weeks off - hopefully the former!! RICE etc has already started.
