Did the boxhill race on saturday- didnt really train at all over Christmas, and figured it would be a good intro to getting back into it for 09.
I didnt realise quite how much pain I was going to be in by the end of it.
For a couple of years now Ive done 8 hour adventure races, and I have NEVER been so tired after a race ever.
Went home and just collapsed for hours. Slept amazingly well that night, still knackered on the sunday, and I still hurt today.
Wow.
An entirely new degree of pain. That works.
oh- and I managed to come in the top half... Quite happy with that.
my question is, does it ever hurt any less?
