I might do it. But having only done 1 fell race so far (and that was only 3 miles) I am a bit scared and having trouble talking myself into this one !

So it's 2 laps then? Don't know the area at all...is it grassy, rocky, trails, sheep trods?
I think I might do this one. My brother lives in Ambergate, so I might combine it with a family visit. (Also means I have someone to keep an eye on my daughter during the race).
As for terrain - I'm expecting mud, grass & mud.
Onehillwonder, my presence there will guarantee you won't be the worst fell runner in the field.
