Yeah its a belated birthday Present from the missus, Im not sure on the name of the B&B. Apparantely its got lovely views.

I think we are walking the race route on the sunday, but after watching the Wainwright programme on Monday we may going over Sharp Edge to Blencathra.

Did anyone know the fell runner from that programme. Hey he may even be a forumite?

Whoops - a bit of a late reply but I'm off to join the hordes of runners at Carnethy (you've probably seen that already mind you!). Can't make AW - would love to but I can't get the time away. I assume you're going?

Most definitely, good warm down after the Allendale the week before and warm up for the 3 Peaks the week after that. I think a stern word with Mrs Deeko is needed to ensure your fell running pleasures extend beyond the Lothians and Fife. I took this line with Mrs Bob the Dog at an early stage and once I had learned how to dodge the frying pans, cook my own meals, wash my own clothes and got used to sleeping in the shed I have never encountered any problems in pursuing my hobby. By the by as you've probably seen you missed a belter at High Cup Nick at the weekend

[email protected] tried once but she managed to coerce some children out of me - now the little blighters are specialists at giving me all kind of respiratory diseases. I think this was a very cunning plan!

Allendale -> AW -> 3 Peaks? I wish - I'll be lucky to get up Arthurs Seat at this rate!!

Great write up of High Cup Nick on SHRacing BTW - I think you need an algorithm for the cake scoring though!

Is anyone doing a mid week recce (or any week day for that matter - 16th April onwards - leaving it short I know but it wasn't me who deemed when the easter holidays should fall ) that I could tag onto
