    Country Tracks

    This just received...

    Hello
I am working for the BBC in Birmingham, for a new BBC1 series called, 'Country Tracks'. This is a sister series to 'Country File', which will be moving to an evening slot later in the year. 'Country Tracks' is to feature archive from 'Country File' and incorporate it into country journeys around the UK.
On the 16th and 17th February, we plan to film in the Cumbria area, in particular at the Old Man of Coniston. We are planning to use the old Country File footage featuring Joss Naylor, which we recorded back in 2006. To celebrate Joss, we thought it would be good to get a group of say four fell runners, to put our presenter Ellie Harrison to shame, running up the hill. It would be good if these fell runners have been at some point inspired by Joss. Unfortunately Joss can't make the filming because he is away in Spain.
I wondered whether you could put me in touch with any potential contributors for this item, particularly if they have been involved with the Lakeland Challenge for example.
I am in the office today on this email - [email protected] , and on 0121 567 6486. If you want to contact me over the weekend, my email address at home is: [email protected] and my telephone number out of hours is 07912 583 412. I am actually in Cumbria on a recce next Monday/Tuesday, but will be contactable on the above mobile number.
I hope you can help me or point me in the right direction.
    Kind Regards
    Sam

After the trash the BBC put out re. the OMM I would be surprised if any true fell runners would have any truck with them. Mind you I am continually being surprised.

I'm surprised you are able to locate your phone Hanneke, what with the endless pairs of INOV8 shoes you keep on your person. I still cant believe how casual you are with new shoes.....clearly not a CLARKS girl
