I find that a nice tight fitting black one with holes just for the eyes and mouth is great, goes down well in the local post office too !

Hi Al,
I have a buff, think they are great. Been using it when out on the road bike with a wolly hat and been toasty, no ear aches!
Reading Trail magazine the otherday and they reviewed a Coldkillers Hot hood. Not sure if it would be too warm for running but this quote captured my attention:
"Suoperlight, windproof and well-cut, it provides cover around sensitive, easily wind-chapped areas on your face in the way a hood or Buff really cant manage"
It has a ventilated nose/mouth area too!?
Could be great or could be gucci kit for left wing bedwetters.
G
i have the berghaus black balaclava and found a new north face one whilst out running. the berghaus is a bit thinner but has a bigger face opening than the tighter faced thicker and warmer nf.
i also have a buff but dont really like it for bad weather, but its good under a climbing lid.
All the talk about buffs and watching this vidoe on youtube where the guy seems to be on speed...... has potentially convinced me to get one.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pperW4PKeSw
But would i look like the thug to get a st georges flag one?

I wore this hat at lunchtime, and it kept me snuggly dry.
I think I have just lost my third buff. Bugger. Could be on Kinder near Sandy Heys, that's when I last opened my bag to get a bar out. Great piece of kit. Bugger.
Can't beat a buff, Al. Still think it would be entertaining to see you lather your head in deep heat though.
