Glad to hear you're back to it Phil! Full speed ahead with the training mate!

Myself, a meagre 4 miles on flat roads (as prep for H'field 10k on Sunday). It was pants as well, too much like hard work. No danger of getting anywhere near a PB as yet... Cor, it's gonna be a long road back...

    Re: Today's Training

I did 3 mile power walk today (from work and then home again) then with a 1 mile run/1 mile power walk, so although i am probably the most unfit on here, i am very slowly getting there, and my speed is getting better, which i am pleased about.

Going to do more emulsioning this weekend, up and down the ladders generally hurt more than running on the tarmac.

Not ready for racing just yet, but i am very much enjoying getting fitter. Especially the thought of a new wardrobe of clothes! As my clothes are tooooo big at the moment!!!

Ran 90mins this afternoon. First to postbox to post my Howarth Hobble entry; then Beamsley Beacon, over to Round Hill, down the main descent in the Round Hill race then over the moor and down home the way the BOFRA race goes up. Blooming brilliant to be out with just the Swaledales and Grouse for company
