I will be there with family, lad's entered in U10 race. Planning on going up on friday with caravan, staying at Braithwaite, got all the following week off so staying up there to get some BG reccie's done

Slug Clan will be going up to Lakes on Tues.14th April, and I'll be doing Hawkshead Trail on Sat.18th, so might be able to slope off for a bit of a mooch around on Thur.16th...
was thinking of 3 Shires territory rather than BG though, but might be open to persuasion...

Woohooo! Been for a run this morning, for the first time in ages...

Beautiful spring weather here, so I thought I go up to the ridge and back and see how I go... Expecting to be walking half of it... and the best news is that the ankle seems to be at last back to normal! I was even able to descend at a reasonable pace and no twinges or aches and pains

On 2 occasions you were indeed "OUT OF IT" on a park bench.

I, on the other hand, put in a measured and powerful performance and could have carried on beyond the point at which you finally expired for good
