At the end of the next run that you do (hoping that you run more than once a month !!!), do 10 press ups and then 10 sit ups.
Every other run you do from then on add 1 of each to the total
Eventually you will reach a ceiling number
Drop back down 5 of each and work back up and you should be able to exceed the previous total by one or two
Repeat ad infinitum
As long as you are exercising the legs and cardio vascular system sufficiently well in the runs, this programme will get you better conditioned and fitter than you have ever been. Your own body weight is the simplest form of resistance that you need.
Nothing scientific but it ticks all the boxes.

Top! I've been trying to get into the habit of doing 5-10mins on exercise bike - sit up's and then streches after each run as a proper warm down
Will add those pesky push up's.. have been trying to do them in the 30mins workout but am pretty useless - BUT practice makes perfect!!
