Waiting for Ady to put us to shame, and Derby to get down on the floor and push!
Exciting! I've never been top of anything before! Doubt it'll last though...

Ah, hello. Didn't see you there.

Re: The 100 push up challenge

I was once challenged into doing some pushups by the guys that ran the gym where I taught a yoga class... I was able to do 36, and could have gone on, but they said I had proven my point that I did not need to work on my upper body strength...

We had this push up challenge on fetch a few months back and I was going to join in, but promptly dislocated my shoulder and have not been able to do a thing upper body wise since then.

Inspired by this thread, I just tried again... and was able to do 6... which is good news... so lets see if I can build it up again... Mind you, I will do it my own way, not like they do it on that site. I will come on here once a week to give you an update on my porgress...

You'd best start the thread then eh!

I just tried to do a few but it felt like my stomach muscles just snapped - bit sore from what the physio had me doing.

Since the start of this thread (which has mentioned sit ups) I have found myself doing a few as this was my forte. Last years bike crash has not put my left shoulder in strong contention for a press up challenge although I have had a go..............Damn you Heathens (the poster, not the rest of you!!).

You could actually incorporate sets of push ups on a fell training run. Every mile get down and do 25. Only the sheep to see you............
