A clockwise run up Ingleborough from the bottom of Townhead lane in Austwick. Quite hostile from the top of Little Ingleborough along the ridge and onto the summit - mist, strong cold wind and sparodic heavy hail showers. Patches of ice and snow still lying, especially going up toward the Swine Tail and heading off to pick up the Horton path. Very muddy path back down until the veering off for Crummack track. Heading back into the village the sun was out and there were plenty of blue patches above - what a contrast. Just over 11 miles and around 2,250' of ascent.

Good effort Ady, Good to see the legs working again..

I wimped out of the run due to the high wind rain and sleet!

50 lengths front crawl in the pool.

will try for that longer run tommorro

Tried to run but couldn't. Don't think the beta blocker from Thursday's fully out of the system yet. Nice walk(- took 1:17 to get to summit!) up Ingleborough... white out conditions ~9:30 with very strong wind. Couldn't move fast enough to keep warm. Discretion is the better part of valour so decided not to attempt the remaining 27miles I had planned! Sun came out when I got back to Ingleton.
