    I'm on Mam Tor Ian, How about yourself?

    On a marshalling note if anyone has any specific requests for shouts of encouragement / heckles etc. note them down with your race number.

    Otherwise I'll just wheel out the mildly annoying classics such as "C'mon chaps, not far to go now!!"

    I had asked Mrs MH and the kids to hand out jelly babies at Mam Nick but given the forecast they might just sit in the car for 4 hours with the heater on!

    is the forecast honestly that bad
    such is the devotion my wife has for me
    im sure i can depend on her to wait it out in all weathers with my banana and nutella sarnies eagerly awaiting her husband trudging up mam tor.

    I've said I'll meet my folks in the pub in Edale after - yes, the forecast really is that bad

    I've spent most of the day checking out the photos of last years race on the web site to get some ideas of how many layers of clothing to put on

    just got back from walking the last half of the course it is cold you could well need hoods by sunday as the forcast is for colder winds dont be lulled by the sun in edale its cold on the tops and i for one will be out a long time
