Just checked the weather and it seems to be improving. We might start in the rain but it should brighten even if the day may be breezy.
Going to bed now as I have to get up at 4.30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck everyone today! That first pint tonight will taste good![]()

Really enjoyed myself today- espcially in retrospect!
Heading into the wind was tough at the start but a least we had it on our backs later. Very glad it did not rain.
It was odd how some bits very very dry and others like a swamp.
Thanks to those who helped me navigate without needing to phaff with a map, especially Cath W. Also to those who chatted, which helped me through the bad patches. That last road was my downfall, I just could not run up it and was going so slowly I bet I lost about 5mins+
My first of the vasque series. So should I now try to fit in some more?
A grand day out just marred by a bit of pain. After showering surprised to have tanned lower legs! not just peat stains.
Well organised as usually. After a slow start seemed to run well to about 23 miles. Then hips and lower back were in pain and slowed to a snails pace, took me nearly 2 hours to do the last 8 miles, back in just over 6 hrs. Just lack of miles me thinks.
Thanks to Keighley and Craven for a good day out, spent most of it with Derby Tup and his Keighley train, cheers mate. Hot dogs were an excellent touch, as were all the biscuits, hot cross buns and doughnuts, think i've put on weight.
My leg, that i twatted falling down stairs, felt better towards the end, but has now siezed up, walking round like Herman Munster.
Enjoyed a couple of Guinness's in The Fleece in Haworth after, in the company of the Crumblies and a bunch of Tod Harriers, must say, anyone looking to join a 'real' club should give em a go, great bunch of folk![]()
