    Re: Wuthering Hike

Thanks to Keighley and Craven for a good day out, spent most of it with Derby Tup and his Keighley train, cheers mate. Hot dogs were an excellent touch, as were all the biscuits, hot cross buns and doughnuts, think i've put on weight.
My leg, that i twatted falling down stairs, felt better towards the end, but has now siezed up, walking round like Herman Munster.
Enjoyed a couple of Guinness's in The Fleece in Haworth after, in the company of the Crumblies and a bunch of Tod Harriers, must say, anyone looking to join a 'real' club should give em a go, great bunch of folk

A grand day out as ever yesterday. Loads of forumites around including IanDP, merry, Mr 1470 and JohnK. Nice to meet ultracollie and put the world to rights with Oscar too No cramp for some reason; suspect it could have been the pie I had in Skipton on Friday afternoon

Well I got the PB 5.25.?? approx 15 minutes faster, No idea of position though. So much for the start slowly The first hour I tried to run steady honest. no hope

Got a bit of cramp at Stoodly and had to ease back from then on with lots of cramp by the penultimate CP.

Surprising good weather which was fortunate given the number of people who didn't have waterproofs.

Where were they. I kept asking and I was desperate for something savory, Felt really sick with all that sweet stuff.

Checkpoint after Long Causeway, they were set back off the road up a track, good navigational skills needed to find them or a nose for food. Actually i got clipped and was going to set off again and somebody mentioned hot dogs, otherwise i'd have missed them too.
Well done on the PB Ian, think i was faster than last year as well, not sure what my time was, someone mentioned it was 8.05 when we set off, we shall see when the results are out

Possibly, or maybe the lemon tart or even garlic bread

You'll be 10-15mins faster than last year merry. A good run and strong finish

Excellent, i'll have to fall downstairs more often
Just waiting for my lad to come back from Heron spotting with his Grandma, then its a 5 mile recovery crawl with him, hope he's gentle with me.
Enjoyed running with you and your mates, good positive banter, 'No quitting' and 'Never walk downhill' throw in a couple of baldies and it was like being on a route march in the good old days
