Just print off a photo of me and put it in a titanium frame then mount it on the bike

With work time constraints I often have to resort to a 1 hr turbo session. I use an HRM and cycle computer and iPOD and work as hard as I can BUT does anybody have the secret for keeping motivated on the da*n machines?

No... I hate them with a vengeance... have tried everything, from music, to dvd's to chatting on the phone and phantasising wild things, nothing helps with the boredom of it and the longest I have ever managed was an hour... that was doing part of the Amstel Gold race on the Imagic...

We averaged just about 20 mph over 62 miles of quite hilly roads daz... a fair ride, I'd say...

Well, todays bike ride was a tad hair raising, as I took my new track bike out onto the track for the first time. Bought it on Ebay and the previous owner has not used it for years, so the tyres are a bit crumbly... as well as used on a concrete track rather than a wooden one, so even though we sandpapered them, I still slipped right off the banking in and out of my first bend...

Thankfully, I managed to stay upright, but lost my nerve slightly after that... New tyres are on order, as well as some slightly smaller chainrings... 50x14 is a little big for me at the moment
