I know of quite a few on here who have notched up a hundred miles.

Ady, Myself, Emma for sure. In fact I think she notched a few up for her Ironman training last year.
She may have some tips to offer

    My tips are
    Start steady
    Good comfy saddle
    Eat plenty
    Drink lots of coca cola

Whats the furthest you have been Hann
I always find the bit between 70/ 85 miles the worst.

Daz, i was giving it some thought about the coca cola and how exactly do you carry it.
Do you just fill your water bottle and not have any water or does a can/bottle fit nicely in the pockets of a jersey?

do you have 1 or 2 bottle cages?? if 2 you can have 1 of each if not then you can have water in the bottle and a bottle in your jersey or just stop off and you can fill your bike bottle when you've drunk all the water....many permetations but I wouldn't personally go with the can option!!

yes 70-85 miles is always the worse point for me too Daz, especially hitting the top of cote du Coursegoules in the South of France in the blazing sun with still 50km to go

Just one cage. I dont have the metal things to allow you to get another cage on....so jersey it is then.
