62 kms in 2 hours on an undulating course, feeling strong throughout. Managed somne good sprints as well, even towards the end

That new bike is quite something! Woohoo

I know of quite a few on here who have notched up a hundred miles.

Ady, Myself, Emma for sure. In fact I think she notched a few up for her Ironman training last year.
She may have some tips to offer

    My tips are
    Start steady
    Good comfy saddle
    Eat plenty
    Drink lots of coca cola

Whats the furthest you have been Hann
I always find the bit between 70/ 85 miles the worst.
Furthest I have been is 115 kms... that is 70 miles... I reckon I can ride 100 miles no problem, if I drop my usual pace a little... It is just a matter of finding the time for it.

    I HATE coca cola though...

Yup, done 100 a few times, not recently though Getting fitter though perhaps in a few weeks.......

So, how about the Daz challenge, I reckon 100 miles in 6hrs 41mins would be doable for most of us on here, that's only 85 miles short of Cav. So for those of you clocking up 100 over the next few weeks, lets see how you do...post here for the Daz challenge for whiter whites

I rode my downhill mountain bike up and down the street, just to adjust the gearing.
    I'm worn out

Ok, will do... I do 60 miles in about 3.5 hours so yes, should be able to do 100 in less than 6.5 hours...

I think we need a few more rules for that though....does it include/exclude stops....how much uppage etc?? I could happily crank out 100 on the flatlands in my neck of the woods in that time but Daz lives in a hilly bit so his lumps are bigger!!
