Hi Stolly - the Chilterns are pretty good running country for sure, especially the section of the Ridegway around Wendover and Chequers - often use that route home from Wendover Station after work. I'm very lucky in that I can run from my back gate in Hazlemere straight into the AONB. The only problem with Beech woods though is I often forget where I am and get lost when in a bit of a running trance!! Can't see them for rain today though - much better weather oop north - got a bit sun burnt on the AW yesterday
