One course for £5.50, two for £6.50 or three for £7.50 at the Shady Oak, Fernilee.
Four different cask beers available as well, from Jennings.
Sounds like yesterday didn't affect Big Ken too much Shady Oak sounds good Swoop

Went out on the mountain bikes with Mrs T. Legs a little stuffed from some hard runs this week so took it easy. First stop off on the canal at Barrowford, tea and bacon butty only £2.25, lovely. Through Colne up to Coldwell, tea and scones £2.20. A great ride down the moorbottom under Boulsworth then pie and peas at Wycoller £3.10, stopped off at Trawden to look at a mates 4 baby pygmy goats. Back to Barlick on the canal. Fantastic day out. off to the Indian now, diet going well!

Yesterday - 1:40:44hr Greenfield - Pots n'Pans -Alderman - Binn Green - Ashway to the stile contour to footbridge - direct ascent to Dovestones Edge - Fox Stone - Res - Plantation and home.....Easy paced due to still having this bug, wanted to get up to Rivvy Pike but thought it not a good idea to race feeling like Sh*******te.....

Off for an easy 4+ miles around the lower Chew now, before the crowds arrive

    Beautiful out there

Recovery run up Weets before breakfast. Felt wasted, bit low on carbs. Fantastic morning though. Might go for another trot later. Got a reasonably easy week coming up.

The heel is still as painful as ever, so

I dusted off the 9 year old training bike that hasn’t seen the roads for almost three years, and set off for an easy ten mile ride.

Half way around I spotted a gaggle of mountain bikes in the distance – bang went the easy ride as the competitive genes kicked in.

Just back from several days in Bucks. Managed to get some runs in since we were in the middle of the Chilterns. All very picturesque with rolling hills, woods and hedgerows. Felt like a cross country runner! Missed my moors and dry stone walls though.

Mind you, weather was better back oop north that down there.
