Thread: Herod Farm Hill race

    Re: Herod Farm Race

    Hi Werdna

    Oh no another fixture clash!!!!!!

If your team Walsall were regular qualifiers for the Champions league semi finals you would understand the dilemma the race date causes me when it clashes.

    I'll be there though.

Glossopdale website is a little out of date, Herod farm has not been a working farm for at least 5 years and gates were put in approx 5 years ago!! Great hill to run up though, might travel down to it...

Be great to see you on Wednesday!

As for the Saddlers, I totally forgot that they were playing at Stockort today. Still, they managed to win without me!

Hey shouldn't need a compass on this race, anyway looking out of my window it looks fine - albeit very windy

I have a special safety pin for my number and a good luck charm in my shorts pocket (not a euthamism), whether this will substitute hard training remains to be seen

All in good fun, see you at 7.30pm for my return....after my kick up the ass birthday.

got some 5683 with me as well....................................

Which website were you looking at

The current glossopdale website says "You'll possibly be aware that Herod Farm is now a private residence, and is no longer a working farm. The new owners have replaced fencing and stiles, and now have an automatically controlled gate on the entrance driveway, up which we run, to what was the farmyard."

Have a look at the Herod Farm pages
