As for this proposed relay BG, I am keen... count me in. Have to check out the home front, but it could well be a goer.

Wensleydale Tri is that weekend in August, but that's not compulsory... BG experience is.

The July alternative may be feasible as well. I'm up for any of it... supporting Donkarlo at the end of June (maybe Legs 3 & 4), but need to get the miles and climbing in. Will probably have to do it in a day, rather than join the Pony fest.

Em, has Dave turned up? Chances are he'll be fine... they're generally pretty resilient and the weather's not Scandanavian any more. You've done the right thing contacting all likely ports of call, though it must be awful having to hang around waiting for a phone call.

Leg 1 for me clockwise please, just love that slog up the mungrisdale climb , supported a mate last year and followed a great descent down the east side of Middle Tongue into Gate Gill, shins shredded by the heather but certainly better than the upper reaches of Halls Fell in the dark...

Is this a fell ponies only thing or is it open to anyone. Im looking for a bit of Bob Graham experience in time for my 18th.

I expect you will be welcomed with open arms. Hope you're thick skinned though with some of the banter you will endure!

Fantastic day and I'll be back for more. 8.45 was a bit pants but I'm pleased enough with that and I'd have been satisfied with anything under 10 hours... next time nearer eight.

Did you manage to get your t-shirt Steve?

I had to dart off with the family so didn't pick up that or the certificate... not the end of the world, but I'd be pleased with them. I've e-mailed via the website, so fingers crossed. Well chuffed to have done it.
Hiya LR! Shame we didn't meet and greet. Did you do the early start? Glad you enjoyed it, my Island is very nice!

Just Called in at Tom Cringles ( MFR comittee member and all round top bloke ) house on my way home from tonights run. He says T shirts and certificates will be/have been posted out and should be with us any day now.
