I didn't see any gels on route, but I did see a water bottle which annoyed me.

More so when, an hour later, I reached back to drink from mine and realised that it wasn't there. I was no doubt bonking at the time, so a bit of liquid would have cooled things off a treat.

Needless to say losing the bottle wasn't intentional, and apologises for those behind who got frustrated with seeing it. And of course thanks to who ever picked it up, assuming it's still not there.

My hat blew off climbing Ringing Roger, has anyone seen it ?
I loved that hat ! Fortunatley I had my Buff with me so had to make do with that until the finish. Felt really strong all the way round which is unusual for me, I usually cramp up badly on these longer races.

In the first photo of andyj not sure if i was holding my hat on or thinking what the *** am i doing here. still got round and enjoyed it.

Picked up a glove, blue with grey cuff and one of the 'official' maps with compass bearings marked on it somwhere between Grindslow and RR I think, its all a bit hazy. If anyone want's to claim them drop me a pm.
