Not really - if the weather is clear you can park at Ribblehead and stand by your car. You see all the runners as they whiz by but can at the same time get an awesome view from there of the long, long line of ant like fell runners winding up the sheer side of Whernside.

What curry is everyone having tonight? Its an L race so I went for the Birian with Sports Narn. Chicken a bit overdone, but should provide the necessary carbs and lose twice my own body weight in the loo tomorrow before the race.
I don't remember you being quite as laid back as that last year, Linda, as we sprinted along the road to Ribblehead...
But of course you're right, it should be all about enjoyment, and the cutoffs aren't unreasonable.

Big plate of pasta smothered in a can of mushroom soup and a can of tuna.
