I rode home from the pub. What better bike ride is there than that?

It was a lovely warm evening, with stars and quiet roads and everything.

On my pub bike (how professional am I?)

[SIZE=1]I do have a complaint about my hope head torch though, it gives you a red mark on your head which isn't that becoming when you have to chat in the pub.[/SIZE]

Didn't get chance to post yesterday so this is a bit late for 'today's cycling'

65 miles for me through the Trough of Bowland 40 of them with Ady, cheers Ady, good ride although never did get that tail wind!!

3,600 ft and 16.5mph average.....

You could always just leave the head torch on in the pub?

Another solid 75 with Em yesterday taking in some climbing and then about 15 today (out of my pit too late to cycle from home!) on the cross bike up to the flanks of Pen-Y-Ghent to watch the race and take a few pics. An interesting descent down the rocky track to Horton where an 'Orange' mountain bike was attempting to chase me - CX proved to be the better machine .

For that sort of money Al you could get yourself a much higher specced/better bike via the 2nd hand route.............
