Being a southernsoftie, my fair hands have never touched anything like this, and obviously I lack the manly practical skills that would allow me to put it back together, fop and dandy that I am.

You raise a good point though...anyone know how this will get fixed? I presume the Police would get in touch with landowner who would then - through the police incident number and my reg number - get my insurance company to sort it out? Anyone know if I need to do anything to help put it right?

the local farmer more than likeley would do it himself, failing that, i'm sure you will hear from them if he needs to get someone in to do it, why not contact him, ask if they can put a stile in while they are at it

I've knacked my bloody left hamstring today, was going for 10 K in 45mins with my mate, but had to slow right down. I' panicking as i'm doing the black mountains saturday, oh well, lots of pain killers

Cheers Alf. They/it were/was fine*, by my hand at least.

I'm beginning to think I should have put as much effort into avoiding the wall.

    Re: Todays Injuries

Just booked 10 sessions with the physio for massage (buy 5 get 5 free). Just been in with what I thought was an achilles niggle but it is where the achilles meets the soleus which is the muscle I had trouble with 6 or 7 weeks ago. Plenty of rubbing and a change to my stretch routine and hopefully it will bugger off.
