    From the Fellsman web page

    Plea for help...

Well, only a few days to go. There are a few places (<20) still available so get those entry forms in if you want a secure place as any remaining places on the Saturday will be on a strict first-come first-serve basis. I will be posting some information tonight regarding kit check, buses, opening and closing times for check-in and reminders of the ever unpopular grouping rule which the committee takes VERY seriously!

In the meantime I've had a plea for help from an entrant based in Harrogate who is looking for a car share from Threshfield to Harrogate on the Sunday due to the very poor public transport on Sundays. He can also offer a lift from Harrogate to the start on the Saturday morning. If anybody feels that they can help please contact me via the Contact page and I'll put you in touch.

    Thanks and watch this space.

I'm worried about my 'Large See-through Polythene Bag' that I must put my mandatory kit in. Will it be large enough? will it be see-through enough?

Is anybody kipping at the school on Friday or are we all going up at silly O'Clock on Saturday?

I tried to convert my Ford Fiesta to a camper van last night, hoping that I could sleep in it as a contingency. T'would be uncomfortable to say the least.

Looking at last years rules and it doesn't say the bag has to be clear. Think I used a black bin bag.

Right i'm going to start a torch debate (probably with myself).

Rules state it can't be single led type. Diameter of lens can't be less than 30mm. So this rules out my petzl myo. I've got a Hope 2 led torch but no spare rechargeable Lion battery for it. It'll last 30 hours on full charge. But rules state spare batteries must be carried. Oh it's 50quid for a spare and i don't want to pay that. How strict are they on all of this?
