The word was it was filling up nicely a couple of weeks ago. Ilkley Harriers were being encouraged to pre-enter both to save time on the day and to ensure they got an entry.

Hopefully Glass Ankles will turn up shortly and give you the latest info.

We will have more pre entries this year than last but the race will be open to entries on the day.

We have hopefully sorted out the bottlenecks in and out of the woods so no chance for a breather this year!

Good prize list again, all for a good cause....see lots of you there

where does it start from, is it rugby club or swimming pool or are they in same place? Im not quite sure where it is any directions coming from otley on main road? cheers

    Re: Ilkley Trail Race

From Otley - go on the road that drops into Ilkley through Askwith and the Pool and Rugby club are opposite each other, either side of this road.

Registration at the rugby club...finish at the pool.....start on Curly Hill!!

Don't worry it's very clear when you are there.

Any thoughts on the best shoes to wear on this course given the amount of rain we've had recently? I was thinking Roclites.

Given the amount of moorland track and road on the route I'll be going for my Adidas Kanadias.

It will be boggy over the moorland section, I think something a bit grippy.

Overall though it's mainly hard tracks and paths.

Just off to pick up 2 new sparkling trophies for the winners
