    fantastic race today super fast start loved it probs my faviorite of the fras so far
    I ran and ran until my Muscles burned and my veins pumped battery acid, ....And then i ran some more.

    You were there, Merry??!

    I was marshalling the junior races, but the ones that went through the stream and up the hill. (U12 / U14 /U18).

    Then did the Senior race.

    Enjoyed it and beat my previous time well. It's a real lung buster of a race, but TOO SHORT... had to run home (dragging the dog along) to make it worthwhile.

    The fete and race reminds me of an episode of All Creatures Great and Small from the seventies.

    Don't tell me it was before your time!

    Sorry i missed you Simon, didn't stay for the senior race, shame really cos when we got there and saw the hill, i wished i'd brought me running gear, take it you live round there? Nice area, remember going to a motorbike rally round there in 1982, so i remember the 70's well

    Perfect description I know its like village fetes I remember from growing up real good old fashioned family fun but the ACGS analogy gets it spot on
