Well, the weather was Glorious, the sun shone, the air was still(ish) so what could stand in the way of a good run? REALLY big hills that's what!!!
Oh, that and the fact I seemed to have left my legs and a lung back at home!
It's a tough 7 and a half miles but a cracking race, a good field turned out including Lloyd Taggart and Darren Kay taking first and second place respectively.
The time difference between the leading lady finishing and my crossing the line was nothing other than VAST!! I made a comment to her saying I could get round Tesco and do my weekly shop in that time!! Well done to Jackie, brilliant run.
Oh well, another one done and perhaps if I didn't spend so much time sight seeing and chatting all the way round (really sorry Cath!! - it's the only thing that takes my mind off it!) I'd do marginally better? Who know's but the main thing is that as always it was brilliantly organised well attended and good 'fun' - although not sure I'd be saying that if the clag was down! I agree with Deek would have been a nightmare if it wasn't such a clear day
Managed to stay upright on this one with no dramatic tumbles at the end so that's a bonus!
And for all you speedy peeps - you missed out on the scrummy flapjacks![]()
