If it wasn't, it was a mass delusion. I didn't fully register him at first; it was only when he called "FLY!" to his dog that I realised who the spry old chap bounding down to Wrynose actually was. A bit like being out fishing and spotting Jesus loping over the lake.
I was surprised too; not least by the fact that the bluebells were purple.
Fantastic day out and what views, even though I suffered with the heat, lack of training, dodgy achillies (left foot), rolled ankle (right foot).Can anybody beat that. Thanks to all the marshalls and and anyone who gave water. Roll on Ennerdale. It couldn't be any hotter could it.
