    First outing on the trunce this year and boy was it warm.

    Thoroughly thrashed by Jodg

    my time 29.10 which in days gone past would earn a few points but not today with such big turnouts.

    Way off for me though - got caught in too many queues Nice night for it though I suppose

    Nipped along to Trunce 4 last night. Pretty good thrutch out (doesn't get any easier) but 12secs outside PB for the course. C'est la vie....

    Still swimming but the injury will have cleared up by tomorrow. Then its back out onto the fells

    Wednesday-
    4 miles in the morning over stanage

    followed by a hard club session in the evening from Birchins Clough up to Shelf Moor towards Grinha but cut down Alport Dale
    8 miles 1,400ft

    Thursday Ran the new proposed route of the 'G&B it' very tough esp with tired legs
    15.6 miles 1,800ft

    Good question, I'll check my track and recalculate. All I can say is it involves alot more climbing ( approx 500ft ). I would say that perhaps the old routes1,950ft was generous.
