I've got a vest-shaped sunburn and have been similarly admonsihed
....and I've finally put a face to a name; thanks for the case of ale! It's helped with the rehydration regime. 15 mins down on last year.
I'd also like to apologise for being the one who was sitting in the Sett as half-a-dozen folk were trying to fill their bottles before starting the mean little climb up to South Head! It did give me a new pair of legs for getting up Cracken Edge without cramping though so it was 2 mins well spent![]()

Looking at old photos on the Hayfield site and putting 2 and 2 together, I think I have twigged who you on and that we ran together for some of the way last Sunday. You were taking photos convincing me it would be cooler on the plateau. Me with my top tied round my head!
