    Wharfedale TTT

Just to remind everyone that the Wharfedale TTT is on the 3/4/5 July this year - not long now.

The Wharfedale TTT is a weekend racing 'extragavanza' for the whole family held in the lovely Yorkshire Dales village of Kettlewell in Wharfedale, North Yorkshire.
The first race on the Friday evening is a short, mainly uphill, road race. The Saturday will be 'A' medium with navigational skill required and the weekend will culminate with a marked 'A' short straight up and down affair.
Facilities include a field where a tent can be pitched (at a small charge) together with directions to three nearby public houses. Toilets, showers and refreshments are also available.

The main prizes will be given on a cumulative basis with a Grand Prix Prize awarded to THE CHAMP who does best over the three races. There will be smaller awards to the winners of each individual event.

More information/entry forms etc. at www.bingleyharriers.org.uk.

    highly recomended
cracking weekend and when you return home it feels as though you have been away a week as opposed to a weekend.

Yep, I'd echo that Dylan. I'm really disappointed not to do it this year. I did it last year, and it was great, very friendly, and little bits of competition with one's fellow runners

A great event; much appreciation to whoever devised this small but perfectly formed series.

Can't do it this year which is a shame.

Even I have sneaked a top ten finish here in the Grand Prix tho' as usual was beaten by a point by the Mrs who won the ladies, 2 years ago?

Will anyone else ever finish the GP with 3 points as did Ian Holmes 3(?) years ago. Awesome.

Uh yeah. Holmsey last year! Good tussle with Joe Mercer, but got his nose in front each time.

This years may be the last, unless the organisation is taken on by someone new.
It came about off the back of the fra relay which was held at kettlewell many moons ago.

Anybody know where the Saturday race goes? I might be in the area and I fancy a bash but the only info I've been able to find says it goes up Gt Whernside.

    thanks
