For me, for something to exist is has to be proven to exist. Also, not being able to disprove something does not prove it's existence. This is a classic weak argument of many believers, eg "science cannot disprove the existence of god so therefore god exists"... I could start my own religion worshipping an almighty celestial hamster and could put forward the very same argument for its existence with equal validity ie. not much.
A lot of Richard Dawkin's work is excellent but I don't think the God Delusion is his strongest. He comes across in it as being too zealous rather than relying on hard science and sound philosophical argument. I prefer Selfish Gene, Blind Watchmaker and, more recently, The Ancestors Tale.
