Same for me. Running after work means later dinner, later going to bed, less sleep.
I do run in the morning sometime, but that means the getting up earlier than my otherwise 6-ish, time sleeping identical.
Sorry, but there is no shortcut.
One alternative I tried was the running commute. But that would be very high mileage.
