I am training for the Welsh nationals on 19 July... there is hoping that by then the exhaustion from TdG will be out of my legs...
I still can't climb

It will be a nice sort of exhaustion though
Indeed, and what I did today on tired legs is proof that I can cope with it... But coach is still not talking to me... I do seem to have gained another one though... He volunteered on Sunday...

Interestingly, ever since I started doing my own training, I have been getting faster and stronger on the climbs
Most importantly, I have been enjoying my cycling more AND I have been racing better! I am now well in the bunch and able to participate in the sprint finish, rather than hanging off the back in a small sub bunch or even on my own...
I only ride 5 days a week now, however, the sessions are either longer or harder... no more boring up and down the A465, I am beasting up some hills in stead... I am afraid of hills, they need conquering!

I will see how the legs feel tomorrow morning... if they are too tired, I will run in the evening and cut my planned bikeride short... Nothing wrong with a brick session
And I thought you were going to bed too?
