There is mention of trails in the pine trees. If the course is still the same as 2008, it pops out of the trees between the "turn" at Tre-le-Champ (moved up the valley from Argentiere) and Plan Praz. Last year I was fried by the finish, very hot indeed, even with the 8.00 am start. Compulsory head gear.

Great win for Mudge this year in the Cross by 11 minutes.

Was expecting to see Emma Barclay in the results, but no sign.
