40 miles all told today. Start my return to fell running tomorrow gently with a run in the Stirton fell race.

Well, if I were to have to excel in a TTT, I better not run up and down Pen-y-fan a couple of days before, without any running specofic training...

That 15m TT was a right shambles of a performance LOL... But I did enjoy the pain, and I know why I was 4 minutes slower than I had hoped to be... ah well, there is always next time

This weeks long was 68 mile, four and three quarter hours and 5000'
    Home
    Halifax
    Keighley
    Skipton
    Colne
    Burnley
    Todmorden
    Sowerby Bridge
    and back home.

Was averaging 14.6 mph until the last 1.5 mile hill up to home and it dropped big time, finished at 14.1.

Its a lot flatter once you get out of Calderdale

I've done more than 115 miles in a day. I'm not a nurse.

How long has it been since you've been away from the running?

Midgley Moor race, last weekend of March.

I am enjoying this cycling and work are starting this new bike scheme in the next couple of weeks so need to get a bit of fitness back. Gone up almost a stone with not running and missing it big time.

On the down side the Opp will knock me back a couple of weeks but hopefully I will be back in the new year.
