Was meant to start on these runs last week, but just ridiculously busy. Should get a couple more in before hols.

Cheers DT. Slowly, slowly, catchy monkey! (Though see my 'This is Getting Silly' thread for a possible complication.)

Saturday - same old, same old Whernside and Ingleborough out of Ingleton. This time though with Kels my daughter who'd never attempted a 15.5 mile and two mountainer before. Made it okay (with mild sunstroke) after 3.5 hours

Sunday - a 11 mile run around Gisburn forest, includng a visit to Whelpstone Crag trig. Jesus that place is fast becoming a mountain bike mecca with loads of 'em whizzing around - they have so upgraded all the mountain bike trails there; really really good.

    Sedbergh today.

From the village , on to Winder and skirt around the fell to the West and up to the summit - then and out and back to Arant Haw, descent of Winder and back around again.
Just missed the rain, but it was a darn sight nippier up top than down the bottom.

40min steady run on the Dales Way. My calfs feel tight, my knees are sore and I didn't enjoy it tbh

More like tonghts training. The Edges a toughish club handicap. From dovestones upto indians head. Follow the edges to Chew and the around to Foxstone (the descent on ravenstones). Then the nice steep ankle breaking descent back to the sailing club. Hoping for good points ahead of widdop
