Oh and regarding results, lets not be spoilt brats. Of course we all want to see them but not every organiser is a computer geek and most organisers have other things to do in their lives. No one is making a living out of organising Wasdale, as people do out of organising some other running/MM/adventure racing type events where results are posted instantly.
I think Arnica needs to pop to the health food store for something calming![]()

Great video - loved the music. Theme to the Big Country if Im not mistaken. Often find myself humming that one to myself on long races.
Loved the race as well. Comes from starting too slow.
Well I had a decent first attempt at it, no thanks to the numpty that stole my unhidden drink at the first road crossing, - a pink bottle with light blue top, - if it was you and you did drink it, then please be aware it had beenup me arse then I rubbed my cock on the top - I always unscrew the top you see so if you get my genital warts on your face then thats you own lookout!
Next time think on, and if some old loon like me needs a rehudrate drink to get him round in carully measured amounts then leave it alone.
Well done to the marines that gave it ago as well - good on you lads.
Big Country? what are you like? He's even put Magnificent Seven in the title as a clue
brilliant video, thanks wharfeego
A big thanks to the organisers too, that stew at the end was a life saver
the commercially available Race Map is crap - I recced its exact line the other week clocking just under 22 miles. Taking the actual race line on sat was 20.56. The previous race maps I've used have been full of handy locals' hints etc (which makes them worth the price) but the Wasdale one has you going over Scoat Fell and Black Crag amongst other things - safe bad weather nav lines maybe but if that's the intention it could point it out and give the alternatives. Aye well
didn't feel 100% and struggled a good deal to get round in 6.15 - happy just to finish in the end having cramped up after Esk Hause. Hope I can walk again in time for Borrowdale
