    nah im not doing it ive done the full race before but just at a night race wasn't to keen on the route if i was you id save some thing for the climb and something for the way back as its a long run in

    Doubtful. The Good Book says navigational skills, so take one if you wish, but the route is pretty straightforward. Organisers often provide a photocopy if they're requiring a map for shorter, straightfoward routes.

    Turn north off the A65 at the eastern end of the town onto the Hawes road. As it's their gala, there will be lots of activity. Basically, can't miss it.
    Unlikely to be muddy, slippy wet rock. Enjoy!
