Ive done the leeds parkrun but was wondering how hard is this one. Is it predominantly flat and good for a PB or is it undgulating like leeds

Trying to plod up hills every day slightly faster than the day before
Don't know the route but if it's in Heaton Park then it's no more than gentle undulations.
Is it the one that Sherunheruns does in the Park? or is it the one that the Park Warden's do? theres a couple more, but more for health walkers than runners.
it is the one that sherunsheruns puts on, being a member of the sherunsheruns manchester staff i should know this haha, i was lead bike for the first one and will be racing on Saturday, its a cracking little course i reckon, the lad who currently holds the course record (Mike Mannings of Oldham) has ran at the one in Hyde Park and reckons that the Heaton Park course has the ability to be a lot quicker than the Leeds one, its got a gradual uphill which shouldn't slow you down too much and a gradual down hill (you do both twice) so you can catch the speed back up that you lose on the uphills when going downhill, hope this helps and hopefully see some of you there on Saturday!
Il be there. Is there anywhere ngood to get a brew nearby

Is this onroad or offroad?
it starts at the lakeside cafe, obviously get a brew in there after, had to the first week as it absolutely lashed it down.
its on road Al.
We train in Heaton Park at the same time as this event. The course is flat except one steady climb which doesn't slow things too much as it is stil a runable hill. Was discussng doing it. Its not all termac from what I could see. Some paths round the lake are gravel.
