Average 15.5 mph for the other 30 mile but only managed 10.3 av on the climb. Av HR on the climb was 169 or 5.3 zone, I was buggered at the top.
A propper cyclist passed me and he was flying.

The more I do the more I want to do.
Top effort mate, never been up there without a headwind

A nice spin around Rockfield/Skenfrith/Welsh Newton. First ride since TdG and legs felt full of beans! Enjoyed taking GT out and the repositioned brake hoods make a real difference. Live and learn! Mindyou, the rear derailleur is not changing very smooothly. All I did was clean it!

Sometimes it needs 'settling' after a clean... Did you re-grease it as well? Checked the cables?

Just done 24 mile recovery ride on canal bank.
Got mucked up to the eyeballs.
Got stung under right eye be a bee.
    Got wet through.

Had a great morning kept HR under 100 bpm Average (99)

PS Even hosed the bike and will WD40 it when it dries

    Getting more like Daz everyday
