    Re: The Round Hill

Just got back from a jog on Denton Moor which incorporated spectating/impromptu marshalling at this race.

Good to see a few forumites enjoying the soggy bog-fest including (in order they passed me 2nd time) Owmeknee, GrahamB, Derby Tup, Tussockface & Leeds Rhino.

DT was just ahead of the course record-holder just before the drinks station (though Richard was jogging around after Borrowdale yesterday).

Apparently a record turn-out of c154, leader by over a minute at drinks station was a Dark Peaker with Karen Pickles well clear in the Ladies race.

Plan is an 'easy' 10k trail race end of Aug - Spofforth, then take it from there.

Multi didn't you spot me? Bald man in a orange (Wetherby)vest?...duh!
What a splendid run. Very good value for a C race. The going was tricky to say the least and I'm lucky not to be on the injuries bit of the forum with all the ankle turning I did. There were 6 from my club and they all enjoyed it.
    See you at Spofforth.

GD, my apologies - yes I did see the Wetherby 'bald one' but wasn't 100% sure whether it was you - now I know

    Yep-see you at Spofforth.

Nice run with Derby, we got told off for running and talking, but it was a good relaxed run and the time just went buy so quick.
