    You do realise the word "spoof" contains the word "poof" and is an anangram of the word "poofs" which some people may find homophobic

    It certainly got Merry, there was 45 mins between, the oh well I don't care if I am banned message and the "hah", its a wind up one and Stolly wasn't sure if it was a wind up.

    Bet there were some PM's flying behind the scenes.

    haven't read all this, looks like a bit of a ding-dong

    but in general I reckon a good rule to work by is, don't say owt on the internet that you wouldn't be prepared to say to someone to their face

    It's only AntiSally winding me up, not really a ding-dong, totally agree with your rule though mate, but some folk let their fingers run away with them when they're in the comfort of their own cyber-space!

    There were some serious points made at the start of this, unfortunately I think the guy who made them felt so dispirited by the response to ideas that essentially came out his values and decency (whether you agree or not), that he appears to have removed himself from the forum.

    Don't agree with your rule, there are people (racists, homophobes etc) who would be willing to spout abuse or offensive remarks to peoples faces - this does not make it right.

    Some people are perfecvtly happy to spout offensive abuse to people to their faces - does
