I should warn you, that since the "car problem" Missus has developed the habit of rolling over in the middle of the night, grabbing a handbrakeand giving it a good hard yank.

Brillant Mr Mole.
Now then, I have a proposition for you. I take it you are intimate terms with the terrain we shall be cuddling up to this October? If you promise not to tell anyone, could I tuck you into my rucsac so you can give me constant navigation? I'll feed you carrots so you can keep it up on the night stages!
That came as a shock! I'm in on the medium score as a vets team but I'm only 30Since found out that the total age of the team is used

just got our envelope! not done the omm before and was just wondering what sleeping bags others use. normally use the rab topbag for lamm/saunders but the kit list states 3 season. i was planning on bringing a down jacket for extra warmth, is this 'within the rules' or do need to get a new bag?
the kit list on the website just says 'sleeping bag', have you received more specific instructions?
I did the KIMM (as it was) several years ago with the Rab Top Bag and a North Face down vest; this worked fine. had to wear everything else as well though (hat, gloves etc!)
Shame if they insist on 3 season; it'll be warm enough, but many will ditch the down vest/jacket instead, so people will be forecd to go to bed early or get v cold on sat evening.
The info pack states 3 season. Bit of discussion going on on the OMM forum about this.
andy a-yeh, we received a booklet yesterday with rules and a separate kit list. do they normally send out such detailed info or is it a result of last year? just wondering as i've not done the omm before.
skennaugh-thanks for the info will have a look over there![]()
