Skins run this morning in the glorious sunshine. 2 1/4 hrs circular route from Holme village, up to the moss, Tooleyshaw, West End, down to Crowden, back up the PW to Black Hill before cutting off to Holme and the car. Lots of ramblers out today.

You weren’t by any chance recceing this Monday’s summer series race were you?

Just got back from a recce of Mondays race, from CP 1 to 3 is pretty much as you described, at least the last half is very runable

Had flash backs to the “Broomhead Bash”

    Roughly 5.5 mile 1000’ ascent

Good pub near the finish and has a great descent for the last two miles with only Baily hill to climb.

I need a good result to get my yellow jersey back. Only three races left, I'm on hols for one and won't get a good result on the last one...
