Same here, no good lines spotted. I did see the a couple of short tracks that went in generally the right direction, but nothing that would give you an advantage over other runners (if I can find them again)

19m/5000ft Beautiful clear day but reisisted the urge to sit down and drink it in at Stoodley Pike and plodded merrily on. Didn't time myself, just ran for the sheer pleasure of being alive
Bike ride with Mini-Merry now, i shall drop him on the hills

Have a look on K&C web Will for the mile time trial coming up soon. Guest runners welcome I think and a proper burn-up as it's mostly downhill Holmsie won last year in 4-10 iirc

Sedbergh Hills - Full Route - around 4 hours.

Never known it so dry - other than Bram Rigg Beck and Langdale Beck, I never got my feet wet.

And for the first time I saw the top of the Calf as I approached it

I imagine the course record will be under threat unless there's lots of rain over the next few weeks - not by me ofcourse

8 miles 3100ft. Alternating hard miles and easy miles. Really good as 3 of my hard miles were constantly uphill

5.5 miles yesterday from Prescot back home to Cronton passsng through Blundells Hill along the way. Will have to make do with a late run today as carpet fitters are in fitting new carpets throughout the house.
